How to Enable and Use the Jobs Pool Feature for Specialists in the Jobs Platform

What is Jobs Pool?

The Jobs Pool is an optional add-on module that lets your team create Jobs without immediately assigning them to a Specialist. Instead, available Specialists for the day can view, select, and claim open Jobs from the pool in their App.

This new workflow eliminates the need to assign Jobs days or weeks in advance, giving your team more flexibility and control.

How to Create Jobs for the Jobs Pool

  1. In your Command Center, select Create Job as normal.

  2. On the job form, leave the "Assign To" field as "Unassigned".

  3. Complete all other required job information fields (Customer Name, Phone #, Job Details, Job Date, Time, Location, Reference #, Warranty status, etc.).

  4. Click "Create Job" to create the appointment.

How Specialist Claim Jobs

  1. Specialists log into the Quickride Specialist App as usual.

  2. On the dashboard, tap the Jobs Pool tab to view all unassigned Jobs for the day.

  3. Browse the list and tap Claim on a desired Job.

  4. The Job is now assigned to them; it will appear in their active Jobs list.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

  • Encourage your team to review the Jobs Pool early in their shift for optimal selection.

  • Administrators can monitor unclaimed jobs and assign them as needed if any remain late in the day.

  • Customize job details to provide relevant information for quick decision-making by Specialists.
