What is a Service Radius?

The radius, in miles, the company offers rides within. In the Command Center it pops up an alert to shuttle dispatchers if they try to create a ride outside of this radius. In the Passenger App it doesn't let customers create a ride outside of this radius and pops up an alert directing them to contact the company directly.

What is a Radius Override?

Administrators have two options as to how a dispatcher can or cannot create rides outside of the dealership’s radius.

  • If the Radius Override is enabled (default), users will get a notification when they are creating rides outside the station’s radius. Users will then need to confirm if they would like to proceed with the ride and this will enable them to create a ride outside of the dealership radius without Admin permission.

  • If the Radius Override is disabled, users will get a notification when they are creating rides outside the station’s radius. Users will then be unable to create the ride and will need an administrator to create the ride for them.

How to enable/disable Radius Override?

Command Center admins will need to contact Quickride Customer Support Team to enable/disable this feature.
