How User Logins Work

Admin users create user accounts/ logins in the Command Center of the Shuttles Platform or Jobs Platform for their team members to access either the Command Center or the Driver App/ Specialist App.

To log in, users enter:

  • Station ID: A four-digit number shared by everyone at the station

  • Username: Unique to each user

  • Password: Assigned to each user

Issue

  • The Driver App color selection screen shows that the shuttle color is locked to the same driver trying to login.

Typical Causes

  • The mobile phone experienced intermittent data connectivity issues which caused them to get disconnected from the system.

How to Troubleshoot

Disclaimer: These are general steps for checking and configuring phone settings as the specific steps vary by phone make and model. If needed, consult your phone manufacturer’s help pages, manuals, etc. for the specific steps for your mobile phone.

Try, in this order:

1. Check Phone’s Internet Connection

Open the internet browser or the Google Maps app on the phone. Type something and see if it gives a result. If so, go to the next troubleshooting step. If not, check the phone’s settings and make sure:

  • Cellular data is turned on

  • WiFi is turned off*

  • Airplane mode is turned off

*Sometimes WiFi signals aren’t strong enough to support a stable internet connection or regularly disconnect from the phone as the driver leaves the station. Therefore, using the phone’s cellular data instead is recommended.

2. Ask An Admin/User to Check The Command Center

Ask an admin/user at the station to check the command center and confirm that the driver is still currently logged in. If the driver is showing that they are logged in to the system, but are unable to log in to the driver app because the shuttle color is locked to the same driver's name. The admin/user needs to manually log out the driver from the command center.

To manually logout the driver from the Command Center:

  1. Check the driver app and see if the shuttle color is locked to the same driver trying to log in.

  2. Check the command center and verify in the driver tab that the driver is still currently logged in the system.

  3. Click "Logout" from the driver tab to manually log out the driver from the Driver app.

  4. Have the driver restart the phone and log back into the driver app.

3. Contact Quickride Customer Service

Contact Quickride Customer Service if an admin/user is unable or unavailable to assist with checking the login.
